Privacy Policy

Your trading journal stays on your device. Edgeory stores accounts, trades, notes, journals, and photos locally. We do not run user accounts on our servers, and we do not upload your journal data to SmartAppsFlow.

1. Information We Collect

Edgeory does not require a SmartAppsFlow account. The information you enter (trade details, account names, capital figures, notes, journal entries, optional profile fields, and optional trade photos) is used only inside the app on your device.

We do not collect personally identifiable information for our own databases.

2. How Your Data Is Used

All journaling, performance calculations, reports, backups, and most features run entirely on your device. Your data is used solely to provide Edgeory’s features to you.

3. Data Storage

Data is stored locally using browser / WebView storage (localStorage and IndexedDB). This data:

Remains on your device by default
Is never uploaded to a SmartAppsFlow backend (none is used for the journal today)
Can be deleted by clearing the app / site data
Can be exported by you as a backup or report file that you choose to save or share

4. Optional Network Features

Some optional features may contact the internet when you use them:

Benchmark lookup: fetching public market reference data (for example S&P 500 related quotes) from a third-party data source when you use the benchmark feature
Sharing / feedback: opening your device share sheet or email client; any message or attachment you send is under your control
CDN fallbacks (web): if a local library file is missing, the web page may load a publicly hosted script needed to run export/chart features

These requests do not send your trade journal contents to SmartAppsFlow.

5. Website Analytics (Web Only)

The public website on smartappsflow.net may use a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service to count aggregate page visits. This applies to the website only.

The Android / iOS store build does not send those analytics beacons. Localhost and non-approved hosts are also blocked by the app’s runtime guard.

6. No Advertising Profiles

The app contains no advertising SDK and does not build advertising profiles from your journal.

7. Permissions

Depending on the platform, the app may use storage or share capabilities so you can save backups, export reports, or attach photos you choose. The core journal works offline with data kept on-device.

8. Children's Privacy

Edgeory is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
